Walnuts, plums and berry fruit on the nose. Juicy and medium-bodied with soft tannins and light earth and nut undertones. Open already. Merlot and cabernet franc. The only chƒteau on the Right Bank who has Boissenot as a consultant (he’s primarily Left Bank), the 2021 Chƒteau De La Huste is outstanding and has a medium-bodied, elegant, silky profile as well as terrific red fruits, spice, tobacco, and hints of flowers in its aromatics.
