Owned by the Cl‚ment Fayat family, this eclectic chƒteau was designed by Louis Garros in 1881 and is well worth a view. The estate has produced a richly textured wine. Its black-currant and cocoa flavors are reflected in the layers of tannin and acidity. It will age well. Drink from 2027. Notes of ripe red and dark berries with hints of hazelnuts and ground spices. Dry and chalky on the palate with a medium body and creamy tannins. Smooth and soft at the end.
