Chewy, grippy and mouthfilling, this is a plush and plump style with a bouncy palate and drive of quite rich and concentrated flavours – cassis, red cherry and pomegranate. Licks of salinity come in on the finish and this has a lot to like. It’s quit a bold, in your face style, and it’s carrying more weight on the mid palate than others which bodes well for future ageing. Sculpted and somewhat muscular but with tons of energy.
