From the lower part of the vineyard, just above the premiers crus. This is in a very reductive phase, so trying to coax something out of the nose beyond that is difficult. Much cleaner on the palate with impressively chiselled intensity and indeed waves of flavour. This needs to settle down but should make an excellent wine, with some flesh at the finish.
